1. It’s hard.

Trying to get over someone who’s been the center of your attention for the past year. Letting go’s a bitch. But life, you gotta live it. So imma try to move on, while still keepin’ the friendship.

  6. Seattle Hip-Hop’s future

A while back, when I started listenin’ to Macklemore, Blue Scholars, and Grayskul I thought to myself “This shit is dope, but what is going to happen when these guys decide to settle down?” And even though all these guys are still goin’ strong in the scene, i’m happy to say that I love where Seattle hip-hop is goin’ with all the younger cats, such as Brothers From Another, Kung Foo Grip, and State Of The Artist. I know that even as I get older the scene’s gonna stay fly, just as all Seattle music does, and that makes me a happy hip-hop head.

  10. Real Hip-Hop

I love my new northwest hip-hop, it’s my shit. But I also respect the old stuff. Afrika Bambataa, A  Tribe Called Quest. You know, the guys who started this amazing art form. I’m tired of people today that say that they love hip-hop, but when you ask about the guys who started this they know nothing. I may not know all of the early emcee’s, but I try to take some time to listen to the old stuff. Not appreciating old hip-hop is like not appreciating where you come from. Maybe that’s fine for some, but I like to appreciate all aspects of Hip-Hop, especially the roots. Word up, Real Hip-Hop.
